Parnish Kumar attained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the South Pacific (USP) in Port Vila, Vanuatu, in 2013 and subsequently completed his Professional Diploma in Legal Practice at USP’s Statham Campus in 2014.
He was admitted to the Fiji Bar in August 2014 and commenced his legal career as a Legal Officer with Fiji National University. Later that year, he transitioned into private practice, where he gained experience across a broad range of legal matters. In 2019, Parnish joined Mitchell Keil as an Associate, where he spent nearly three years advising and representing clients in employment law, civil and commercial litigation, company law, and criminal matters.
In October 2021, Parnish established Kumar Legal, operating as a sole practitioner. The firm’s office is conveniently located opposite the Government Building at the Pacific Conference of Churches Building, on the corner of Gladstone Road and Thurston Street, 4 Thurston Street, Suva, Fiji.
In 2025, Parnish was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia, further broadening his professional qualifications and legal expertise.
