Parnish Kumar attained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the South Pacific (USP) in Port Vila, Vanuatu, in 2013 and subsequently completed his Professional Diploma in Legal Practice at USP’s Statham Campus in 2014.
He was admitted to the Fiji Bar in August 2014 and commenced his legal career as a Legal Officer with Fiji National University. Later that year, he transitioned into private practice, where he gained experience across a broad range of legal matters. In 2019, Parnish joined Mitchell Keil as an Associate, where he spent nearly three years advising and representing clients in employment law, civil and commercial litigation, company law, and criminal matters.
In October 2021, Parnish established Kumar Legal, operating as a sole practitioner. The firm’s office is conveniently located opposite the Government Building at the Pacific Conference of Churches Building, on the corner of Gladstone Road and Thurston Street, 4 Thurston Street, Suva, Fiji.
In 2025, Parnish was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia, further broadening his professional qualifications and legal expertise.
Beyond his legal practice, Parnish is actively involved in sports administration and governance. He currently serves as a Board Member of the Fiji National Rugby League and as Chairman of the Legal and Ethics Committee and Vice President of the Rewa Football Association, demonstrating his commitment to the development of sport and strong governance standards in Fiji.
Outside of his professional and sporting commitments, Parnish has a passion for the outdoors. When he is away from the office, he enjoys farming and hunting, pursuits that allow him to unwind, connect with nature, and maintain a balanced lifestyle.

Nishant obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of the South Pacific (USP), Laucala Campus, Fiji, before completing his Professional Diploma in Legal Practice at USP’s Statham Campus in 2023.
He was admitted to the Fiji Bar in September 2023 and commenced his legal career as an Associate at Kumar Legal in 2024. In this role, he advises and represents clients across a broad range of legal matters, with a particular focus on civil litigation, criminal defence, employment law, company law, and commercial litigation. Nishant is recognised for his meticulous legal drafting, strategic advisory skills, and effective courtroom advocacy, enabling him to assist clients in navigating and resolving complex legal disputes.
Between November 2025 and August 2026, Nishant expanded his professional experience by working with a leading financial institution, where he gained valuable exposure to corporate compliance, financial regulation, risk management, and commercial operations. This experience strengthened his understanding of the regulatory and commercial environment and provided him with practical insights that continue to enhance his legal practice.
Following his return to Kumar Legal, Nishant has integrated this financial and regulatory expertise into his work, enabling him to provide clients with commercially informed legal advice and comprehensive solutions across a wide range of matters.
Outside of his legal practice, Nishant is passionate about sport, particularly football (soccer), and regularly participates in local and friendly matches to maintain an active lifestyle and foster community connections. He also enjoys sustainable farming, a personal interest that reflects his commitment to healthy living, self-sufficiency, and environmental responsibility.

Stephany Aggie Kautoga obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of the South Pacific, Suva, in 2025 and completed the Professional Diploma in Legal Practice in the same year. She previously attained a Foundation Certificate in Social Science (Law) from the University of Fiji in 2018.
She commenced her legal career with Kumar Legal in February 2026, where she has been actively involved in legal research, drafting, and case preparation across a range of matters. Through this experience, she has developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking and practical legal problem-solving, with a particular interest in client advocacy and access to justice.
Stephany is committed to providing clear, practical, and solution-focused legal support, with a strong focus on client needs and effective communication. She works confidently both independently and as part of a team, adapts quickly to new legal challenges, and maintains a high standard of professionalism.
Outside of work, she enjoys travel, outdoor activities, and singing, which reflect a balanced and grounded approach to both her personal and professional life.

Ema Taufa is the Office Manager at Kumar Legal, bringing extensive experience in legal administration, agency work, office management, and accounts administration. She holds qualifications in Office Administration and Information Technology from APTECH and the New Zealand Pacific Training Institute through Fiji National University.
Ema joined Kumar Legal in 2022 as an Office Administration Clerk, where she was responsible for a wide range of administrative functions and provided support with the firm’s accounts. Prior to joining the firm, she was a member of the Accounts Team at Mitchell Keil, where she gained valuable experience in financial administration and office operations.
Through her dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic, Ema progressed to the role of Legal Executive, managing the firm’s agency legal work while continuing to assist with office accounts and administration. She now serves as Office Manager, overseeing the firm’s administrative operations and contributing to the efficient day-to-day management of the practice.
Outside of her professional career, Ema has a strong passion for fashion and clothing design. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish her own clothing business in July 2026, offering a range of apparel for both women and men. This venture reflects her creativity, initiative, and commitment to pursuing her interests beyond the legal profession.
Ema continues to successfully balance her professional responsibilities at Kumar Legal with her passion for fashion and the growth of her business, demonstrating her dedication, versatility, and drive for excellence in all her pursuits.
